By car
Arriving from the north, south or west? Bergdiamant is about 15 minutes from the Brixen-Pustertal motorway exit.
After leaving the A22, follow the signs towards Pustertal and take the turn-off for Muehlbach. Drive through Muehlbach and turn left at the valley station of the cable car onto the road to Meransen. After about three kilometres turn right towards Meransen. After another 3.5 kilometres you will reach a junction with the sign Apartment Bergdiamant; turn right there and after 100 metres you are at your destination.
If you are arriving from East Tyrol, drive through the Pustertal valley to Muehlbach. In the village centre turn right onto the road to Meransen and then continue as described above.
By train
With the Brixen South Tyrol Card from 1 May 2026, you can travel free of charge throughout South Tyrol.
If you are travelling sustainably by train from the north, south or west, it is best to get off at Franzensfeste station. If you are arriving from the east, get off at Muehlbach station.
Destination stations: Franzensfeste, Brixen or Muehlbach.
Your Brixen South Tyrol Card
With your Guest Card you can use the bus and train network throughout South Tyrol completely free of charge. Explore the region from Innichen to Lake Reschen and from the Brenner Pass to Trento. Please note that only regional trains and local buses accept the South Tyrol Guest Pass.
Important: Please scan the QR code on your pass at one of the blue ticket machines before boarding a train. On buses, your ticket is validated directly and free of charge on board.
If you would like to bring a pet, please note that an additional ticket is required for transport. The South Tyrol transport association charges 15 cents per kilometre, and a muzzle is mandatory.
Taking a bicycle is allowed on specially marked trains and buses; for this, a day pass costing 7 euros must be purchased.

The Brixen South Tyrol Card opens the door to numerous experiences, including swimming pools, museums, monasteries, castles and changing activity and cultural offers in the region. Use depends on the opening hours of the respective facilities.
By plane
Alternatively, you can also use the airports of Innsbruck (90 km), Verona (200 km), Munich (270 km), Bergamo (290 km) or Milan Malpensa (370 km).
